Alpha Company Aviation is a family-run aircraft maintenance company based at Venice Municipal Airport in Venice, Florida. The shop runs on a crew of experienced FAA A&P/IA technicians who have spent their careers around aircraft, with the owners in the hangar alongside them. The A&P with Inspection Authorization who signs your annual works on the floor here.
The shop
Alpha Company Aviation is a family business. The crew is made up of experienced Airframe and Powerplant technicians, several holding Inspection Authorization, people who have spent their working lives around airplanes and helicopters. The owners work on the floor, in the airplanes, next to the team where they are needed.
Piston singles and light twins are a big part of what we do: the Lycoming and Continental engines that run general aviation. We also take on turboprop and turbine aircraft, and we are a Robinson Authorized Service Center for the R44 and a Game Aerospace service center for the GB1 GameBird. What ties it together is consistency. We keep the same team, the same standard, and the same documentation in every hangar we run. That means the annual you get at one field reads the same as the annual you would get at another, because the same people wrote both. When you leave an airplane with us, an experienced A&P with IA is the one who signs it back to airworthy, and that person is glad to talk you through every squawk on the sheet.

The owners run this shop and work it, hands on the airplanes, in the hangar, next to the A&P/IA techs and crew. It is a military-member household, and a service background shows in how carefully the work gets done and written down. An A&P with IA from this team signs your logbook.

A logbook is a legal record, and it is the first thing the next buyer's mechanic reads. We treat it that way. Here is how the paperwork comes together on every job.
Daily progress notes and pictures sent to your phone. If we find something on the way in, you see it before we touch a wrench.
A written list of what we found, what we fixed, and what we left for next time. Nothing gets started that you did not authorize.
Entries written so they still make sense in three years, and so the next A&P or IA reviewing your records can follow them without a phone call.
An FAA A&P with Inspection Authorization returns the aircraft to service. You get the pickup paperwork in your hand and a number to call if anything feels off.
Where we work
